One school’s board and head
Governing Together
Build a clearer working relationship between the board and head. A standard governance curriculum, delivered privately to your school, with time to work through roles, decisions, and accountability.
A shared foundation for the board and head
The board and head need a common understanding of who decides, how they work together, and what accountability looks like. Governing Together provides a structured setting to examine those questions together.
A standard governance curriculum is delivered privately to one school’s board and head. The group works through the curriculum in the context of its own school. This is an educational program, not bespoke consulting.

Work on the governing relationship
- Clarify the respective roles of the board and head.
- Examine how decisions move between governance and school leadership.
- Build a shared understanding of accountability and working relationships.
Both delivery options use the standard authored curriculum and accompanying resources. Private delivery gives one board and head space to learn together; it does not turn the program into a custom consulting engagement.
